Animation Collaboration & Revue des Créatures
Inspired by Camille Saint-Saëns, I created Revue des Créatures, Water Creatures and The Creeper Suite. The Creeper Suite was born from my concern for endangered insects. Sadly, for some insects, that concern came too late.
These videos show a special collaboration between the Animation Film class of Gerd De Kinderen at KATZ and Caricatunes. The students selected music from Revue des Créatures and created their own visual interpretations. Once their creations had taken shape, the music was further refined and given a fitting ending, so that image and sound could become one swirling whole.
